Final Destination 4 in 3D in 2009

The Final Destination movie series goes on with a fourth installment. Director David R. Ellis and Scriptwriter Eric Bress, who worked together the second opus, have been called back to manage the production of Final Destination 4.

Producer Craig Perry said to Bloody Disgusting that Final Destination 4 will be in high-def 3D technology. Using the same technology as currently used on James Cameron's Avatar or on Journey 3D. But Perry claims that they won't use 3D for 3D's sake:

"Having something pop out at the audience every four minutes gets boring"

So the 3D in Final Destination 4 should be used to add depth and drama to the film.

Final Destination is slated for a release in August 2009.

Plot:
"On what should have been a "typical day at the races" for McKinley Speedway, Nick O'Bannon (Bobby Campo) has a grisly premonition of a race car fatally crashing and sending debris into the stands, gruesomely killing his friends, and causing an overhang to collapse on him. He awakens, not being able to shake the feeling of how real his vision appeared, he panics, and just in time, persuades the group of teenagers to leave the bleachers. Immediately afterward objects begin to fly into the public as his frightening dream turns into a tragic reality. Unfortunately for Nick, alongside his girlfriend Lori (Shantel VanSanten) and her best friend Janet (Haley Webb), this is only the beginning. As the survivors begin to die one-by-one in even more terrifying ways than they had originally, Nick must figure out how to cheat Death once and for all before he too reaches his final destination." So this time it is Bobby Campo in the role of the clairvoyant who tries to cheat Death. Shall see in Summer 2009 how long he can fool the Grim Reaper!
;-P
